An outgoing and meticulous person, I find inspiration in the daily events in my life and translate them into my work. I have always been passionate about the fashion industry and am always caught up in the latest trends and collections. In my work, I give my best in everything I do and am not afraid to explore what’s outside my comfort zone. I am skilled in sewing, drafting, proficient in Adobe skills and is fuelled by passion.In Temasek Polytechnic, I am in involved in the Design Studies Ambassadors and Temasek Polytechnic Student Union, student clubs that help to organise events for the student body and contribute to the school spirit. They developed my leadership skills and my ability to plan events. Apart from fashion designing, I am also skilled in fashion marketing. My group, BarInsta, won 2nd place in the Final5 Competition where we had to propose a business plan for clients and I was in charge of marketing.I am constantly working on improving myself. I have scored well in the GCE O’Levels and was awarded with a medallion for 8 distinction grades. I have also won many Edusave awards for my academic results and leadership skills.Other than fashion, I’m also skilled in music and dance. I have achieved a Grade 5 level ABRSM certificate in Piano and music theory. I have also took part in many dance performances, which developed my leadership skills and my ability to work with people.I have been working part-time jobs from a young age of 15. Even though some of these jobs have little to do with fashion, they created me to be an independent individual and a problem-solver. They also made me realise my strength in communicating with different types of people. Even though work took up many hours of my week, I managed to find a balance between school and work and maintained an above average Grand Point Average (GPA).I might just be the person that you're looking for!
