I am a passionate water and climate change researcher with an engineering background. So far, my main scientific contribution is climate change and impacts assessment for the mountainous region of New Zealand and Karakoram-Hindukush-Himalaya in Pakistan to provide a basis for policy making related to adaptation, disaster management and water security. I had my feet on parts of Karakoram-Hindukush-Himalaya region mountains and glaciers (Passu, Batura, Ghulkin), and Italian Alps. My skill set includes various water system models (watershed hydrology, snow/glacier, river hydraulics, water distribution and planning, environmental flows, reservoir storage) and use of RS/GIS, climate model (GCM, RCM) data downscaling/analysis using cdo, R, Python, weather generators, AI. Over the years, I have developed a global network of climate & water impacts researchers.
