Current job role includes but not limited to:- Constantly monitoring and analyzing network traffic using IBM’s QRadar SIEM.- Investigating anomalies and creating rules that detect breaches.- Responding to security incidents, creating short-term solutions to mitigate current threat, and designing strategies to avoid future occurrences.- Collaborating with other departments to implement best security practices and procedures.- Conducting vulnerability assessments and generating reports on internal servers.- SIEM administration and log parsing.- Researching and developing methods to incorporate global security ideologies and frameworks, such as MITRE ATT&CK and Cyber Kill Chain, to better understand aggressor actions and aid in protecting the environment.- Investigating cyber threat incidents using CrowdStrike’s EDR.- Analyzing emails to detect and resolve phishing attempts.- Staying updated about the latest security threats. - Exploring the usage of Cobalt Strike and Core Impact for penetration testing.
