Graduation Project Title: Hybrid Beamforming Phased Array for 6G FR3-Band.My Role: Design a low noise phase invariant digitally controlled variable gain amplifier for the beamforming receiver chain.

The internship covers the following topics:RF Basic Concepts like noise, linearity and cascaded analysis, IC Design flow, EMI Tools, High frequency device modeling and characterization, design of various RF blocks (Low noise amplifiers, Mixers, Poweramplifiers, VM, DSA, VGA), in addition to some introductory session about the basics of Antenna, Microwave filters, Analog Basics and Analog Layout.

The training covered the following topics:Sampling and quantizationData converters specifications Data converters simulation and testingSample and hold circuits Switched capacitor circuits Digital to analog conversion Analog todigital conversion.Project: SAR ADC design and verification.

Analog IC design basics like: Long and short channel MOSFET characteristics, Basic amplifier topologies, Cascode amplifiers, Frequency response, Current mirrors, Differential amplifiers, OTA design.2. Advanced topics in analog IC design like: Negative feedback, Stability and compensation, Noise, Common mode feedback, SR and PSRR, Variability and mismatch, Biasing and references.3. How to design analog CMOS circuits to achieve required specifications using state-of-the-art systematic design methodologies.
