About Zied Said

As a Mechatronics Engineer with expertise in Industry 4.0, I am passionate about applying robotics, mechatronics, embedded systems, and CAD design to solve complex industrial problems. I graduated from Université Libre de Tunis (ULT) with an Engineer's degree in Mechatronics, Robotics, and Automation Engineering in 2023, where I gained a strong theoretical and practical foundation in these fields.In my most recent role as a Maintenance Engineer at ETMH, I performed electromechanical maintenance of electrical cabinets, pumps, and industrial machines, as well as rewinding electric motors and repairing defected components. Previously, I completed a graduation internship at Centrale Lille, where I upgraded a brick sawing machine by using 3D scanning, reverse engineering, and CAD design via SOLIDWORKS, and implemented a robotic arm with adaptive pick and place via ROBODK and Python. I also designed and built a gripper using 3D printing and PROTEUS DESIGN, and programmed the robotic arm using ROS and OpenCV.My core competencies include RoboDK, 3D Computer Aided Design (3D CAD), Robotics, Mechatronics, Embedded Systems, and Mechanical Engineering. I am always eager to learn new technologies and improve my skills in programming languages and SolidWorks features. My objective is to build a long-term career with opportunities for career growth in robotics, and to contribute to the innovation and advancement of Industry 4.0.
