I am an enthusiastic geologist with 12+ years of experience in mineral exploration projects, academia, and global organizations. I am the Director of UFR SGM, the School of Geological and Mining Sciences at the University of Man, Côte d'Ivoire. Training and researching through three departments that are part of the UFR SGM: Geology and Materials, Mines and Reservoirs and Geophysics.I am Co-Director at Laboratoire Mixte International (LMI MINERWA) for a sustainable mining activities in West Africa. My previous role as Chief of the Department of Geology and Material at the University of Man, Côte d’Ivoire has given me the opportunity to lead the day-to-day management of lecturers and students, schedule exams, negotiate traineeships with mining companies, and monitor progress. This role revealed my professional motivation: use my rigor and positive energy to establish a more inclusive and confident working environment by enabling everyone to achieve things efficiently.I am active in the mining sector: through supervising my students reseaching on gold and nickel deposits and prospects, collaborating with semi-industrial, artisanal and small-scale miners (ASM), and evaluating the spread of arsenic and lead on the artisanal gold miners' sites. These achievements associated with those from my PhD research on the characterization of the Bonikro gold deposit, which appears as a model of an IRGS in the Birimian, have helped us to increase our understanding of the orogenic gold and other economic metals of West AfricaMy continuing consultation by both industrial mining companies, UNEP regional meetings, and artisanal miners contributes to my expertise in the field. Projects I have consulted on include mineral governance, the ASM formalization process and the sensitization of silicosis. Additionally, I have worked on projects related to lithium, coltan, and iron.Inspired by my fieldwork in various terrains in Côte d’Ivoire, Morocco, and Canada, and by my active participation in global organizations, I continue to share my knowledge and mentor people in the following organizations:- Delve Platform- Diversity Equity Inclusion Committee at Geochemical Society- Society of Economic Geologist (SEG) Students’ committee- Young Earth-Scientists (YES) Network- AIESEC Cocody
