David Zigal is an independent residential and commercial sale, leasing, property management, and investment properties’ specialist.In his 38 years of experience in the field of real estate, Mr. Zigal has been honored with numerous awards for achievement and has been active in professional and community real estate-related organizations. He began his career as a residential salesperson in 1977 and joined Coldwell Banker in 1978. In that same year he achieved entry to the Million Dollar Club and in the next year, the Gold Circle. The San Mateo-Burlingame Board of Realtors named him a Million Dollar Club Life Member in 1979 and Coldwell Banker honored him in the Silver Circle in 1981.In 1983, Mr. Zigal was named resident manager of the San Mateo North Office of Coldwell Banker where he remained until joining Grubb & Ellis. As manager, he was honored by Coldwell Banker for his excellent skills. In 1991, 1992, he was one of the top ten agents in the San Francisco office of Grubb & Ellis Commercial. In 1994, Mr. Zigal became an independent residential, commercial and investment properties’ specialist and property management with multi-brokerage companies: David G.   He is a Director of San Mateo County Association of Realtors (SAMCAR) since 1983 to 2012, 2015; a State Director of the California Association of Realtors (C.A.R.) since 1989; 2003 C.A.R. Executive committee member; the 1992 and 2004 President of the San Mateo Association of Realtors; the 1994, 2005 and 2006 and 2012 Chairperson for Region 25 Associations of Realtors in San Mateo County; the 2001 Realtor of the Year; in 2012 was given the 1st Lifetime Achievement Award in the real estate industry; Chairperson for the PRDS Standard Forms Committee since 2000 and was honored by the Silicon Valley Association of Realtors as the 2004 Chairperson of the Year for this committee and 2013 President’s Award; a past member of the California Association of Realtors (C.A.R.) Standard Forms Committee and Legislative Liaison; and MLS LISTINGS’s (the multiple listing service for real estate agents) Chief Financial Officer from 1999-2001, the Secretary for 2007 and a member of the Board of Directors from 1999-2008, 2013, 2015. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in 1975 from the University of San Francisco and a Master’s Degree in Business Administration in 1983 from San Francisco State University.
