Spatial Media creates technology for consultation. We create interactive web portals, Virtual Engagement rooms, Interactive 3D experiences, AR and VR experiences and 3D visualisations. My role at Spatial Media has three core responsibilities; Project management, Business Development and Account Management. In my 3 years at Spatial Media I have successfully managed the delivery of over 50 software, 3D and virtual reality projects. I work with our software and modelling teams to develop schedules, unblock issues, manage feedback rounds as well as keeping all boards, channels and project documents updated. Simultaneously, I work with our clients to ensure they feel supported and informed throughout the project and ultimately happy with the final deliverable. The Business development piece of my role requires me to create strategy for growing our business in NSW. The development, documentation and implementation of this strategy is a critical component of my role. Presenting and pitching our solutions to various audiences is also a key aspect of my role. The Account management portion of my role requires me to ensure our enterprise level SAAS clients are receiving quality service. This means regularly collaborating with our Support specialist to understand any issues clients are facing and supporting her in finding solutions or escalating to leaders if necessary. There are two non core parts of my role that I contribute to significantly: 1. The improvement of the project management team processes. Either through suggestion to leadership, documentation of processes or collaboration with other PM’s on finding efficiencies. 2. We have an inhouse team of developers that create our custom software. I regularly provide them with feedback based on client and industry needs.

As the Senior Project Manager my responsibilities were to:Lead bidding process for tenders. Providing clients with alternative designs or materials to allow for budget or time constraints. Construct a project timeline as well as weekly reports documenting current status to track progress, as well as to share with project stakeholders. Build WHS processes and constantly review these processes to ensure they are effective and up to legislative standards. Own the task of placing orders for materials and constantly communicating with suppliers to ensure they arrive on time. Manage sub-contractors to ensure they are on track for completion dates. Find innovative ways to minimise capital expenditures while ensuring that scope, schedule, budget and quality goals are met.Design custom furniture and joinery that the client/Architect has specified. This involved designing multiple iterations until client is satisfied with design. Liaise with site managers to ensure any issues on site are dealt with promptly. Compile a manual with maintenance schedules as well as supplier information for client upon completion of project.

As the lead Project Manager my responsibilities were to:Take ownership of projects with a high dollar value ($100,000+) Establish clear channels of communication with all stakeholders involved in the project. Liaise with procurement team to ensure items are arriving on time. (Most items come from Europe with 3-4 month production times)Engage Installation contractors to deliver and place the furniture at sites. This involved getting multiple quotes and doing run throughs of the space with the contractor to eliminate any issues on the day of delivery. Liaise with building management as well as office managers to gain security clearance as well as fill out necessary WHS forms. Consistently analyse project delivery to asses where cost can be cut resulting in higher margins. Discuss changes with CEO and roadmap an implementation process for these changes. Compile and provide clients with extensive maintenance programs with product details and care instructions. Build out WHS procedures for internal staff as well as subcontractors. Consistently review these procedures.Ask all stakeholders involved in projects for feedback, to ensure quality of service is always improving.
