  As a geophysicist, I am responsible on basic tasks such as: -- Assisted in mobilize and demobilize survey and geophysical equipment according to the survey requirement. - Involved in data acquisition of Multibeam Echo Sounder, Side Scan Sonar, Sub-Bottom Profiler.- Performed soil sampling coring with Gravity and Piston Coring methods.- Performed velocity dips of Sound Velocity Profiler to determine the sound velocity of water before starting the survey operation.- Responsible in data acquisition and QC of survey methods by using certain software such as SIS, Discover Edgetech MaxView , Innomar SES, Valeport Datalog/Terminal X2 and interfacing navigation system (QINSY).- Tested the soil samples acquired from coring by using torvane and penetrometer to test the shear strength and soil compaction as well as soil color by comparing with Munsell Soil Color Book.- Responsible in maintaining up-to-date vessel survey log and core log activities daily.- Provided early interpretation of survey findings (natural geohazards and man-made features).Current Focus: -- Learn processing the RAW data by using QIMERA, Sonarwiz, Seisvision, SMT Kingdom.- Learn to interpret post-processed data professionally.
