Zilla Fu is an aspiring 3D animator based in Vancouver. Zilla graduated from the 3D Modeling, Art, and Animation program with distinction at the British Columbia Institute of Technology (BCIT) in August 2022. She is excited to share her 3D animation skills with the TV and film industry. Zilla has animated animal walk cycle, run cycle, human dialogue, fight scenes, and dancing shot during her school practice. Meanwhile, she created her series of cartoon characters, Maeko and River. It has been published on Webtoon and Instagram.Zilla also received her Bachelor of Fine Arts at Emily Carr Art, Design + Media in 2018. In her painting and sculpting practice, she won the Mary Plumb Blade Award and Nudelman Collection Award in 2018. Away from traditional art mediums, she is passionate about 3D art which brings her to become a 3D animator. She loves watching animation, TV dramas, and films.Throughout her career, Zilla has worked as an artist assistant, art teacher, and gallery assistant. Her passion leads her to explore different creative jobs in the field. For Zilla, art allows people to connect. As a 3D animator, she is hoping to bridge the audience toward the 3D world.
