Zillah-May Spiegel-Johnson is a dynamic young director, screenwriter, actor, and composer based in North London. A recent graduate of the BRIT School, where they studied Theatre, Spiegel made a notable debut with their first comedy play, 'The Late Late Night Dating Show with Lauren Kimmel', staged at the New Wimbledon Theatre STUDIO. In the summer of Year 12, Zillah-May attended the Prodigy Camp in Leavenworth, WA, a filmmaking and music intensive. During this transformative experience, Zillah-May wrote, directed, edited, and composed the soundtrack for their debut short film, 'AUGENSTERN'. Focusing on composing during Year 13, Spiegel contributed their music to several school productions. After graduating in May, Zillah-May returned to Prodigy for the alumni intensive, Production Camp, where they filmed their latest comedy short, 'The Murderous Miscommunication', which will be available to watch soon. The film is currently on it's festival run.Zillah-May plans on beginning film school September 2025.
