This team is responsible for the quality of the HCI product, Hyperconvergence Software that provides a choice of hardware and hypervisors. Maxta supports VMware vSphere and Red Hat Enterprise Virtualization platforms. We handled multiple releases for both platforms daily. Responsible for Requirements Based Testing, Feature, Functional, Scale, Stress, Performance, Regression Testing and Test Automation. Installation, Uninstallation, and Upgrade from previous releases testing have been a big part of our day-to-day execution.• Managed Bugzilla and Jenkins. This team is responsible for the quality of the product, which is being licensed on 70% of the entire install base of ONTAP, proprietary NetApp OS. • System Test Team - Added System Test team for complete cross-functional coverage and to ensure quality during all phases of the release cycle.• Responsible for Requirements Based Testing, Feature, Functional, Scale, Stress, Performance, Regression and System Testing and Test Automation, as well as the Compatibility with Windows OS, MAC OS, Service Packs and Security Updates, and Interoperability testing with 3rd party vendors for AV and FPolicy.• Increased test automation from ~30% to over 80% for all automatable test cases, which reduced test cycle, ensured higher test coverage and quality, and helped with continuous regression runs for keeping the release branches healthy.• Have excellent “end-to-end” understanding of Product Development Lifecycle.• Leading CIFS teams effort for both classic and new clustered OS.• Built the top of the line LAB for testing of multiple simultaneous major and maintenance releases. Found that a faster turn-around was needed with test case automation to provide much higher code coverage and worked with management and others to setup the transfer of the information to our Bangalore engineers and to help build that team. Created a Transition Test Plan and traveled to Bangalore to help the team with planning, documentation, scheduling, as well as continue with the CIFS team training

• Was responsible for CIFS Protocol quality for the NetApp NAS line of products. The responsibilities included functional, regression, system, stress and longevity testing for all functional areas of CIFS Protocol, as well as multiprotocol coverage for CIFS/NFS and cross-functional coverage with other parts of ONTAP (NetApp’s proprietary OS). • Worked closely with developers from different groups to provide help on difficult bug’s reproduction. • Was involved in customer escalations and always had a solution on how to reproduce the customer problem in-house to expedite the fix. • Was responsible for test case automation using Perl, Batch and Shell scripting languages. • Provided training and TOIs on CIFS functionality and Windows setup to all interested parties and to the functional team from different functional areas.
