• Work collaboratively with Program Manager to develop and maintain operational, administrative, financial and information management systems to meet AVP requirements• Undertake financial management activities including preparation of payment schedules, banking, cheques, petty cash, recording of receipts and monthly acquittals, coordinating with Finance staff in the Melbourne Office• Support and assist in the co-ordination of In Country Orientation of volunteers in each country • Facilitate the timely distribution of Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning (MEL) documentation• Follow the political and security development in the region and contribute to the context analysis, and understanding in the region• Work closely with Melbourne-based staff to provide input into annual demand planning process, identifying and raising any Myanmar specific considerations regarding volunteer recruitment • Proactively manage a volunteer assignment pipeline for Myanmar ensuring that assignment development keeps pace with volunteer recruitment targets• Write, review and edit assignment descriptions and upload to central • Liaise closely with Melbourne-based Recruitment Coordinators to deliver a seamless recruitment service which effectively coordinates Australian-based and Myanmar specific inputs• Develop interview questions and undertake behaviourally based interviews in collaboration with PO counterparts• Nominate preferred volunteer candidates for program inclusion through the AVI e-recruitment platform• Perform on-boarding tasks for included volunteers, including overseeing accommodation arrangements, allowances and in-country orientation preparation
