Contracted as Sole developer and architect responsible for all phases of SDLC from initial design to release and bug fixes and customer feedback for Android application called "Mix My Booze". • The application allowed the users to search a database of over 12,000 drinks with the option to search by 1 or more ingredient, name or number of calories. • Given a raw Excel spreadsheet of the drink names, the steps to make the drinks, drink ingredients, and how many calories were in each drink, I wrote a small tool in Java to automate the conversion of the CSV file into an SQL database which could ship with the app. • Developed and designed the database to be shipped with the application in 2 parts because of memory limitations of some devices available at the time to read in the database from a single file. • Implemented Google Maps API for a feature which allows the user to find local bars near their location using Google location services.
