I am a self-taught programmer. I picked up the passion of programming when I first entered middleschool. I was fascinated by a Game Server which was programmed in JAVA and made small simple modifications to see the unique results according to my changes. This fascination inspired me to expand upon my knowledge in programming. Starting with highschool, I began to learn VB6, followed by basic JAVA. This was the foundation of all my programming knowledge.During my time at highschool I spent a lot of my time programming small tools that made repetitive tasks into an interesting process of creating an application to automate it without user interaction. Such examples is when I made an MP3 sorter, which parsed the embedded tags to identify tthe album name, artist, year released, etc. and place them in an organized matter using this data.I once came across an online game and wondered how we were able to interact with other players, this is when I picked up with the concept of network packets. After searching how networking functions between client and server, I came across the TCP protocol, and learned how client and server have the ability to communicate in a very basic sense. Which gave me a broader sense of how software can communicate with software external to your computer.Programming is much like my hobby, I spent majority of my free time programming countless small software in languages like C#, JAVA, and even PHP.
