I am Ziv Itzhak, a 24-year-old from Dimona, Israel. I’m currently in my fifth year at the Hebrew University medical school, as part of the "Tzameret" military medicine program. Beyond my academic pursuits, my interests encompass a diverse range, including robotics, mechanics, innovation, entrepreneurship, and media-related activities such as graphic design, video production, and social media content creation. My hobbies include cooking, reading books, and engaging in volunteer work.From 2015 to 2018, I served as the captain of an FRC team (robotics team), which I co-founded with friends. Following graduation, I volunteered as a mentor for the team, currently serving as the lead mentor for the robot field. Since 2017, I have participated in five international robotics championships as both a student and mentor. During the summer of 2018, I volunteered as a robotics instructor in three Jewish summer camps in the US through the World ORT organization. In the same year, I initiated the ‘Mentors For Life program’, organizing lectures and workshops on leadership, time management, and other skills for students in Dimona which operates to this day. Throughout my third and fourth years in medical school, I worked as an anatomy and dissection instructor, guiding dozens of students from various academic degrees and leading four teams. In the last nine months, I have gained hands-on experience and knowledge as a Physician Assistant in the Orthopedic ED at ‘Shaare Zedek’ and the General Surgery ED at ‘Hadassah Ein Kerem’ - engaging in examining, diagnosing, and treating patients.
