I'm a Creative Director & Digital Storyteller based in Toronto, Canada. Though I was once forced to attend arts camp as a child, I now champion pursuits of self-expression and entrepreneurship.As a multidisciplinary artist, my diverse creative experiences tend to inform and amplify one another: I graduated as a Theatre and New Media major; spent years in music journalism; accidentally became a professional photographer; began creative consulting for startups; and channeled my narrative and visual skills into film directing roles. Through my work as a creative entrepreneur and facilitator, I seek to empower marginalized communities and identities; I aim to put them in positions where their stories can be embraced and shared amongst the masses.Through my companies — Team Ziyaad and Storied — I've been a driving force behind visual assets for both emerging artists and businesses. Collaborators looking to work alongside him would join the likes of JFL42, Hasan Minhaj, Pomp&Clout, Sony Music, and Warner Music Group.
