Ziyan is currently a member of Carlsquare’s recently launched Vancouver office. Carlsquare is a partner-led technology investment bank that supports companies and their shareholders to implement their strategic goals. In this role, Ziyan specializes in executing transactions (M&A) and raising private capital for technology entrepreneurs and founders.Before joining Carlsquare, Ziyan was a member of KPMG Corporate Finance Inc., a regulated entity through which KPMG LLP's investment banking services are provided in Canada. In this role, Ziyan provided merger, acquisition and divestiture advisory services, as well as financing services including raising debt and equity capital. Ziyan's academic accomplishments include an undergraduate degree and a graduate diploma in accounting from Western University. Additionally, he passed the CPA Canada's 2021 Common Final Examination (CFE), an esteemed and challenging certification examination that is the final step towards becoming a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) in Canada.
