As a graduate teaching assistant at Purdue University, I am passionate about applying data science and GIS skills to solve real-world problems in agriculture. I am currently pursuing my MS in Agricultural Engineering, with a concentration in data science.My research focuses on rice disease prediction using deep learning techniques (LSTM, GRU, and Transformer), aiming to improve crop yield and quality. I also enjoy teaching and mentoring students in ArcGIS-related challenges, fostering a dynamic learning environment and cultivating their problem-solving skills.Previously, I worked as a business development associate at Charoen Pokphand Group, a multinational agro-industry company. There, I conducted site selection analyses using economic GIS, developed and implemented a chain restaurant management system, and managed ordering and inventory control. I also collaborated with the R&D, QA, and F&B departments on various projects, such as developing seasonal and ready-to-eat products, enhancing production efficiency and quality, and assisting with customer audits.I have a diverse and global education background, having obtained my BS in Agribusiness from National Chung Hsing University, and studied abroad in Spain and Thailand. I am fluent in English, Mandarin, and have a basic knowledge of Spanish. I am always eager to learn new skills and explore new opportunities in the field of agriculture and data science.
