Managing environments and releases for a global firm. Being part of a large organization it takes lots of time and effort but slowly the team is moving from twice a year manual releases to automated release every month. Along this line the environment gets migrated from a traditional hosting environment into AWS. As a side project the release and environment management process had to be defined and it needs to be updated as the team is moving along.

Working for an online retailer to design architecture to integrate SAP and ATG / ATG with STIBO for customer and product data. Review, extend and integrate the application design into the higher level architecture defined by a 3rd party. Help the team to shape their agile development environments.

Understanding then extending the architecture of the Reference Data project of the customer which was a leading commodity trading firm. Understanding, improving and tailoring the agile process to meet the needs of the customer and the capabilities of the off shore team. Designing the customer's new content management system based on the user stories emerged during the requirement gathering and refinement meetings. I was responsible to define, discuss and implement the software development process and improve based on feedback from the customer and the development team. The customer was one of the leading mass media corporation.

This project is to cover the Screwfix programme with several smaller projects using the full BEA stack. My role was to design the replacement backend system for the order taking / fulfillment process. The original solution used Mule and we had to design and implement a system on the basis of the SOA principals and ESB. Also I was involved in the design phase of the new configuration management and deployment framework developed by EPAM for the customer.
