During 11-month New Sector Fellowship, designed and implemented a pilot volunteer program at organization based on industry best practices. Generated all volunteer program materials including handbook, operations manual, orientation and screening procedures, in addition to setting up Volgistics database. Established relationships with key stakeholders including Rise staff, educational institutions, business partners, local nonprofits and volunteers for collaboration. Piloted volunteer opportunities, created evaluation tools to identify areas for improvement and developed an impact plan to scale across 19 locations in Minnesota.

Lead financial services and supervised Financial Advocate volunteers at VITA clinic providing free tax preparation to low and moderate income individuals. Offered appropriate financial products, services and referrals to help taxpayers work towards financial goals through savings, direct deposit and credit building options.

Selected from nationally competitive candidates to participate in cohort-based nonprofit professional development fellowship. Received 200+ hours of social impact and nonprofit management training including: marketing & communications, strategic planning, performance measurement, and nonprofit finance and operations.

Created program materials to help launch the Financial Opportunity Center at IRC’s Oakland Office. Taught financial literacy classes, built credit curriculum and compiled a guide of responsible financial products to be used to support recently arrived refugees.

Asante Africa Foundation empowers the next generation of East African young people through education, leadership training and hands-on entrepreneurial initiatives with a pay-it-forward model. Developed and delivered test preparation workshops for rural students to excel on national assessments. Trained youth leaders to share with their peers and now incorporated into teacher's curriculum.
