From heavy rainstorms causing sewer overflows and basement backups to starting a utility inspection program, I work with communities every day helping address these issues and problems, proactively, cost-effectively, and logically.I earned my BS in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering emphasis from Bradley University. I earned my MS in Management, Project Leadership and Management emphasis from Regis University. I am a licensed Professional Engineer Colorado, Illinois, Indiana, and Nebraska.I spent the first part of my career working for two very different engineering firms. One, a small company in Colorado specializing in the water and wastewater treatment systems and the other a large international company in Chicago. With these companies, I gained experience in water and wastewater conveyance, storage, and treatment design, preliminary engineering and environmental assessments, and construction observation. In addition, I learned about sales; including cold calling, go/no-go decisions, writing proposals, and assisting with fee and budget planning. I was also project manager on a number of projects.When the opportunity to become a Client Manager at RJN Group was offered to me, I couldn't resist. In my role at RJN, I learn more about underground infrastructure systems every day. As experts in the field, I have a number of great resources. My key role is the development of client relationships and marketing of company services throughout the Midwest including Illinois, Iowa, Nebraska, Indiana, Wisconsin, and beyond! I'm not afraid to admit I HAVE found my dream job.Personally, after meeting at Bradley, moving to Colorado, getting married, and moving from Colorado to Illinois, my wife Cory and I have been blessed with three amazing children who constantly challenge and delight us every day. It's taken a back seat to attending soccer games and gymnastics meets and other family activities, but I try to get out and run when I can.
