Key responsibilities of this role include:- Analysing, reporting and communicating technical data in relation to the performance of mining ammonium nitrate explosive products.- Developing and implementing analytical procedures and work instructions to promote a safe and efficient working environment.- Use and maintenance of laboratory instruments and equipment for this analysis and development of mining explosive products, including HPLC, Rheometer, FTIR and microscope.- UN testing of ammonium nitrate and emulsion products in accordance with the safe transport and storage of Dangerous Goods. - Delivering technical data and compliance audit results and reports in a timely manner.- Developing and maintaining technical databases to ensure the accuracy of test results, technical records and laboratory inventory management.- Training and supervision of new team members.
