The Undefeated DeveloperMy passion for software development began right after school, with my project defense serving as a significant milestone. I was determined never to lose this newfound strength. During the selection for National Service, I joined Supertech, a tech company where I discovered my full potential. Working alongside a team of highly skilled developers, I was often challenged and felt lost, but I refused to give up.At Supertech, I began learning Java, Spring Boot, Bootstrap, HTML, JavaScript, and CSS. My journey as a full Java Stack Developer started from scratch. I faced many challenges, from debugging errors using Stack Overflow to writing test cases and documentation. Despite being a novice, my persistence, eagerness, and constant feedback from senior developers enabled me to join a team and work on my first enterprise application as a frontend developer. My responsibilities included creating forms, implementing email authentication using Ajax, and writing Detailed Design Specifications, Software Requirements Specifications, and system manuals. I also performed functional tests with the SRS documents before they went to the Quality Assurance (QA) department. The thrill of seeing myself working on a project was indescribable.After my National Service, I continued to maintain my hard work and persistence. My next project involved refactoring a monolithic application into a microservice application. The project was enormous, but breaking it into thirteen services was a significant achievement. Despite the approaching deadline, I encouraged myself and began learning Microservices Architecture. With my resilient nature, I completed the project within the given timeline.As a software developer, I've learned that staying ahead requires adapting to current trends and continuously learning new technologies. By tackling projects that demanded new skills, I gained experience with Angular, Next.js, Nest.js, and React.js. Although the journey has been challenging, my eagerness to learn has sharpened and broadened my skill set, allowing me to thrive in this ever-evolving field.ConclusionIn summary, my development journey has been marked by resilience, continuous learning, and a commitment to excellence.
