www.babyface.uk.com is a children's bedding company selling online and also direct. I took on this project with an obective to completed rebuild and remaster the online business. Our challenge was to communicate and enhance the distinctive Babyface brand, whilst engaging consumers deeply and driving more sales. The functionality and feature list was significant, including integration with third party software for accounting and warehouse, customer relationship management, marketing and drop-shipping alongside an innovative customer user experience.eCommerce website: b:web delivered a brand new eCommerce website for Babyface that allowed their quirky style to engage customers and to attract potential international stockists. The eCommerce website continues to develop both in terms of design and functionality to ensure that it sets the pace for design as well as innovating in the digital arena. Magento was used as the underlying platform with bespoke modules created to maximise sales and the customer experience.SEO: A successful SEO campaign see’s 70% of Babyface traffic as a result or targeted keyword searches. Sales in some categories have increased by more than 500% and the website has the enviable position of a top spot on Google for competitive keywords with over 100,000k competitors!Social media and content marketing: b:web have developed the Babyface brand by creating and publishing rich, editorial style content designed to inspire consumers with seasonal and ‘on trend’ looks using both the website, community templates and social media channels. Regular graphics are created for promotions, prizes, freebies and resources and published across social media channels for maximum customer engagement and increased brand awareness.As a result of our work sales incrased by a whopping 150% in the year following the launch and I sold the company back to it's parent company.

I worked at Thomson Financial (now Thomson- Reuters) for 5 years, starting as a Junior Developer and worked my way up to Development Manager.
