At its core, I help busy and passionate people prevent burnout and build a life that lets them feel their best while doing their best work. This combines movement + strength, lifestyle and mindset coaching. I believe fully in the power and importance of taking care of ourselves so that we can meaningfully give back to our communities.

As a research assistant for Operations Economics Inc I focus provide insight on the impact of potential resource extraction projects with regards to Indigenous communities and the environment. This includes research and report writing for community and regional level development projects around Canada, and the world.

Lettuce Harvest is an emerging non-profit working to increase access to food that best supports human and environmental wellbeing through local, community-based production. As acting Executive Director, I work with my team to develop both long-term project goals and manage day to day operations. We convert front and back yards throughout East Vancouver into productive communal growing spaces.

Working as a personal trainer has allowed me to explore my passion for movement in a professional setting. I work both 1-on-1 with clients, as well as teach small group classes. My areas of greatest interest are strength training, functional fitness - for those with past injuries and mobility issues - and supporting an overall active lifestyle.

While working as a Teaching Assistant at UBC I had the pleasure of teaching POLI 366 (International Political Economies), POLI 370B (Politics of Humanitarian Aid), POLI 260 (Intro to Global Politics). This included leading seminars, weekly tutorials, writing workshops, providing 1-on-1 support for students- in addition to marking tests and papers.

My work as a research assistant was funded by Dalhousie Innovation Themed Undergraduate Funding and would turn into my BA thesis and be presented at APSA, 2018 (American Political Science Association). My research looked into the movement of political memes online, and required the development of new research methods using Nvivo software.

In my final semester at Dalhousie I was a teaching assistant for SUST 2001 - Global Environmental Governance - a double credit course with a two week graded simulation. This required leading weekly tutorials, providing 1-on-1 assistance to students, regular meetings with the teaching team, and digital and physical supervision during their two week simulation. In addition to marking all assignments, tests and class work.
