My primary role is as a Captain on the Airbus A350 for Virgin Atlantic. I have been flying for Virgin Atlantic since 2012 on the A330/A340/A350.Prior to this I flew the B757 and A320 for Monarch Airlines for 5 years. I am also an instructor in the subject of Human Factors, teaching our pilots and cabin crew so that they can understand why we do what we do, in particular in the work place. I have also recently become a children’s author with the release of my first book, Ada and Emily Take to the Skies! which is a fun and exciting story about two girls who decide to become aeroplane engineers and pilots and build their own aeroplane to take on adventures. I am very excited about my book promoting STEM to younger children in an enjoyable way.
