Youth Employability Coach
RoleSupporting 18-24 year-olds to move into work or closer to the labour market. Special responsibility for care leavers, young people with complex needs and Afghan refugees. Key Responsibilities• Coaching and mentoring young people and building employability skills• Coordinating and case conferencing with key workers, personal advisers and social workers• Identifying and referring young people to employment, health and welfare provisions• Working with a caseload of up to 85 young people including complex needs Key Achievements• Helping unemployed young people secure and stay in employment • Building trust and confidence with disadvantaged young people• Improving coordination of support for care leavers with care professionals and appointees
