Manage classroom of 11 students, all in the Florida pre-kindergarten program, age 5. Write and implement lesson plans using the Florida Department of Education VPK standards that include math, writing, reading readiness, and science.

Instructor for group of 30 second graders. Worked on a team of 10 instructors for grades Kindergarten through second. Lead interactive, physical activities to promote exercise and teamwork among students.

Learned from and collaborated with an experienced fourth grade teacher with a Vermont state teaching license. Wrote and implemented lesson plans from literacy and math curriculum, including Bridges Math Program and Lucy Calkins Writing Instruction. Wrote and taught a unit on collecting data and making bar graphs. Was responsible for the behavior plans of two students in the classroom and attended IEP meetings and professional development meetings. Worked diligently as part of triad of student teacher, cooperating teacher, and supervisor to improve teaching methods and strategies from feedback.

Manager of 2016 and 2017 Red Cross Learn-to-Swim summer programs under Water Safety Instructor certification. Managed a staff of 20+ lifeguards, swim instructors, and swim instruction aides. Oversaw lessons of levels one through six and conducted swim tests for students to pass among levels.
