I grew up working and living on a farm in North Carolina, where I enjoyed caring for our horses, cattle, and any other animals we chose to keep. For my last two years of high school, I focused my education on STEM by moving to Durham, North Carolina, where I attended the North Carolina School of Science and Math. I enjoyed living there but the unique nature of Utah allured me out West. After spending extensive time traveling solo, I spent a winter at home on the ranch before living in Chapel Hill as a live-in nanny. Working with children during summers at my childhood summer camp and my time as a nanny has given me a great line of genuine communication with kids of all ages. Luckily I stayed in Utah to study at the University of Utah, where I completed the Global Business Scholars program and am pursuing a degree in Sustainable Tourism and Hospitality Management through the Parks, Recreation, and Tourism program.
