- Oversee product development of new dosage forms, working with Sourcing, Marketing, QC, QA, Medical Herbalist, Purchasing, and Operations. Primary liaison with contract manufacturers to develop business relationship and complete new product development of dietary supplementproducts. Work with out-side labs to develop and validate identity methods and other quality control tests for new dosage forms. - Ensure product safety and efficacy through verification of dosage and development of product-specific safety and use information. Coordinate medical review of adverse event reporting. - Collaborate with Marketing for determination of new product claims, brand publishing idea development and content factual review. Review all illustrations and stock photos to ensure botanical accuracy of packaging, advertorials, and brand publishing.- Educate healthcare providers, scientists, media influencers, retailers, customers and consumers and industry members on herbal products through scientific and non-scientific lectures, expert interviews, and brand publishing content.
