Gained experience in phylogenetics of darkling beetles in Cyprus; integrating biodiversity genomics with conservation practice. Contributed to the creation of a barcoding database for the Tenebrionidae of Cyprus.

I was giving non-formal educational presentations in schools on how they can become more eco-friendly and achieve sustainability and I was helping at the organization of public events that raise awareness about the most important environmental issues in Cyprus. In addition, I participated in applied research projects about marine litter along with experts.

Field work and data analysis regarding Camera Traps (i.e. biodiversity assessments, distribution and variation analysis of bears at Amyntaio area) and Bear Radio Telemetry (home range estimations and movement analysis).

Carried out a behavioural study to evaluate the stereotypic behavior of a former captive bear in Greece. It was also interesting to research ways of how these stereotypic behaviors could be potentially minimised.
