Reporting to the Business Operations Manager, I assist in nurturing current alternate revenue streams through sponsor relationship management and execution of agreement benefits. Sponsorship – • Assist in the servicing of sponsor agreements, marketing calendars and rights & benefits deliverables for all partners, commercial, community and charitable. Events – • Assist in the delivery of all SMJFL events, ensuring the continue to be innovative, engaging and high quality. • Engage with SMJFL member database, stakeholders and wider community.
Marketing & Administration Coordinator
Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, I implement and deliver on the league’s Strategic Plan primarily in the area of Stakeholders & Communications, while offering administration support to all staff, board and volunteers across all key strategic pillars. Marketing & Communications –• Create and execute creative and relevant integrated marketing campaigns to raise the SMJFL profile and expand the participation and audience base; both for SMJFL initiatives and brands, and on behalf of corporate sponsors.• Manage SMJFL’s digital communications activities including monthly e-Newsletter, social media and website (smjfl.com.au). • Develop innovate ways to communication key messages to existing and potential new stakeholders ensuring consistent branding and ‘SMJFL voice’. Sponsorship – • Manage the Corporate Sponsorship Program which includes handling sponsors (both commercial and community partners) at every step of their journey, fielding initial inquiries through to delivering mutually beneficial outcomes. Ensuring the ongoing promotion of sponsors and other funding partners is incorporated into all marketing programs as appropriate.• Conduct successful Tender processes for key SMJFL assets. Assessing against key selection criteria, then selecting and securing investing sponsors in a limited time frame. Events – • End-to-end organization of SMJFL major events, functions and meetings; including information nights, consultation forums, corporate dinners and awards presentation nights• Engage with SMJFL existing membership base (players), member clubs (committees), club supporters, local stakeholders, partners and sponsors.
Game Development Officer
This casual role/position was working to help achieve AFL Victoria’s vision to be regarded as an accountable, respectful and progressive sporting organisation that is responsible for the continued growth of Australian Football in Victoria. As an AFL Victoria Game Development Officer my primarily responsibilities were in line with AFL Victoria’s football development strategy which included both in-school and after-school environments as well as community-based initiatives. This included, but was not limited to, the delivery of the NAB AFL Auskick After-School program and promotions, in-school AFL 9s programs as well as assisting and conducting general Australian Football junior development programs within the school and community-based Australian Football environments.
