At the age of 25, I have successfully trained and completed my first half marathon, jumped out of plane at 9,000 feet onto a South African beach at Jeffrey’s Bay, climbed Table Mountain and endured the awesomeness of becoming a mother. Considering the great amount of emotional and physical strength and motivation needed, saying that I had my doubts on whether or not I could complete these activities would be an understatement. Despite the many barriers and obstacles I faced such as vigorous training for the race and climbing the mountain, and the many mind battles of skydiving and motherhood and pregnancy, I kept going. I am that person; the person that once stating that I will do something, I set my mind to it and get it done.This same perseverance and ambition has continually been applied in my professional life as well. Not saying I will need to jump out of any more planes or run any long distance, but I know I will face hardships which I am confident that I will be able to overcome. I have much experience in customer service, interpersonal communication, management and leadership as well as planning and organizing.
