I am the Clinical Coordinator for Underserved Communities at Project R.E.S.T in Spartanburg, South Carolina. My work focuses working with victims of domestic and sexual violence to empower my clients to begin to heal from these traumatic experiences. I graduated in August of 2022 with my Master of Marriage and Family Therapy degree from Converse University. Before beginning my master's program, I worked for SAFE Homes-Rape Crisis Coalition (now Project R.E.S.T.) first as a community educator and later as a courthouse victim advocate. My passion for victim advocacy work began in college during volunteer work and internships with SAFE Homes-Rape Crisis Coalition, The Children's Advocacy Center, and the Hope Center for Children. I graduated from Converse College in 2017 with a BA in Psychology.

As a work study student, my duties include formatting documents and performing office duties in the Economics, Accounting, and Business Department at Converse College

As a Copy Center Associate, I design and create posters, banners, flyers, and invitations for business and personal use.I work to build and maintain customer relationships through excellent customer service.

During my time as an intern, I was able to observe therapy sessions with children who had experienced trauma. I also observed the forensic interviews of these children. Additionally, I attended weekly meetings between the members organization and DSS workers, police officers, medical professionals, and others involved in each child's case in order to gain an understanding of the interaction between the organizations. I also attended court hearings in regard to children victimized by abuse and neglect.

As an intern, I worked hands-on with child victims of abuse and neglect and learned methods for interacting with these children. I also worked in the office and visited DSS in order to learn about the foster care system and the organization of a non-profit business.
