I am the Clinical Coordinator for Underserved Communities at Project R.E.S.T. My work focuses on providing therapy services to individuals and families impacted by domestic violence and sexual abuse as well as ensuring equitable access to these services for historically underserved communities. I work closely with community partners to provide education and resources throughout our service areas with a focus on outreach to rural areas, non-English-speaking individuals, LGBTQIA+ communities, and individuals who are differently abled. I have worked in domestic violence and sexual abuse advocacy for over ten years, beginning with volunteer work and internships in college at Project R.E.S.T. (formerly SAFE Homes-Rape Crisis Coalition), the Hope Center for Children, and the Children's Advocacy Center. I then began a career in community outreach and later court advocacy with Project R.E.S.T. as well as working part-time at the Hope Center for Children. In August of 2022 I graduated with my Master of Marriage and Family Therapy and returned to Project R.E.S.T. as a staff therapist before being promoted to my current position. I am always eager for opportunities to learn and grow in my field!
