Alpha Upsilon Alpha is an honor society of the International Literacy Association, to recognize and encourage scholarship, the development of personal and professional leadership, and service to the field of reading. As a member, we complete community service hours every semester to uphold our membership within the chapter. We attend literacy nights at local elementary schools and play literacy games with their students. Most recently, myself and another member were elected the newest Co-Presidents of Alpha Upsilon Alpha. As Co-President's, we are responsible for keeping track of every members hours, ordering cords for the graduating seniors, attending bi-weekly meetings with our faculty advisors and organizing new member initiation in the Spring.

As an indoor cycling instructor, I taught cycling classes four to five times a week at the Student Recreation Center on West Chester's campus. I accumulated 15-20 riders per class that would return week after week.

As team leader, I work closely with the Group Fitness graduate assistant with scheduling, special events, and social media content and management. Additionally, I am largely responsible for attending all team and Pro Staff meetings.

The Rep Effect formula that bases Body Pumps, high rep, low weight training on the idea that time under tension and muscular fatigue lead to muscular adaptation. Body Pump works every big muscle group in the body.

As a member of the cheerleading team, our team would meet for practices two to three times a week to prepare for the Universal Cheerleading Association College National Championship Competition in Orlando, Florida in January. There, we competed against other universities in the Game Day Division. As a result, we placed fifth in the nation in the Game Day Division. Additionally, I was elected by the captains and head coach to be the Freshmen Class Representative. I would oversee the other freshmen on the team and be the voice of the freshmen class. Lastly, I would meet with the freshmen once a week to discuss certain topics and any issues that I needed to address with the coach and captains.

I provide logistical support for the UIFI experience. I also assist with experiential activities and other components as part of the session leadership team alongside the Lead Facilitators and AFLV staff.I have a broad spectrum of responsibilities ranging from managing logistical support to delivering testimonials which are consistently viewed as a highlight of the UIFI experience.

As an OurHouse Campus Ambassador, I work closely with the OurHouse team to strategize the best ways to close new chapters, local business deals and strategic partnerships. I leverage my personal network to contact and establish relationships with Greek chapter leaders on my campus and at other schools nationwide. Additionally, I set up meetings and info sessions with Executive Council Officers in the Greek community.

As Panhellenic President, I oversee the 10 National Panhellenic Council sorority organizations on campus. I lead an executive board of 8 women and am in frequent communication with the other three Fraternity and Sorority Life executive boards and chapters. I lead bi-weekly meetings with chapter presidents, weekly meetings the PHC executive board and our advisor, and bi-weekly Panhellenic Delegates from each chapter. In addition, our Panhellenic Philanthropy is Circle of Sisterhood. As a board, we hosted events to help meet our goal of building a school in developing countries as well as providing education for women. Lastly, I attended the Northeast Greek Leadership Association in Pittsburgh with the women on my board. This conferenced hosted guest speakers that spoke on important issues including Greek Life, Risk Management, Sexual Assault, and Gender Equity. Over the summer, I attended the Undergraduate Interfraternity Institute in Indiana. This event led me through a four-day process in discovering new solutions to critical problems, accelerate progress in my fraternity and sorority communities and challenge conventional wisdom.

As a recruitment counselor, I attended trainings from late August through mid January in preparation of the formal recruitment process. These trainings consisted of ideals of being an un-biased mentor, leadership and communication. I lead a group of 9 women and guided them through the formal recruitment process. I would hold morning and evening meetings with my group to prepare them for the day in the morning of what they would see and then debrief with them in the evening. This was a good way for me to gauge how they were feeling and also a chance for them to get to know each other and build relationships. Upon their request, I would also meet 1-on-1 with some of the women in my group if they needed more time to talk.

As a member of Junior Panhellenic, we were able to shadow a member of the Panhellenic Executive Board. I shadowed the Vice President of Leadership and Education during my time with Junior Panhellenic. As a junior board, we met bi-weekly to discuss the things we learned from our mentor and what we want to improve on. Additionally, we were able to sit in on the Panhellenic Delegate meetings with Panhellenic and delegates from each chapter. Lastly, we had many fundraising events to raise money for The Crime Victim's Center of Chester County, Inc. We sold Panhellenic bracelets, soft pretzels and donuts to students on campus.

As a senior camp counselor, I worked with over twenty campers ages 7 and 8 throughout the camp day. I mentored them through daily activities that included swimming, rock climbing, archery, land sports and so many more. Additionally, I worked with Counselors In Training who were learning to become counselors. I would write evaluations for each Counselor in Training I had in my group and would discuss their strengths and areas of improvement with each of them.
