- Create communication materials to amplify MJR Love's mission of creating a genderful school- Design website and help run social media accounts- Assist with grant research and applications

- Strengthen and drive ARISE’s multi-channel communications strategy- Work closely with the ED and and program staff to develop an organizational timeline for the production of annual communication materials - Work to increase ARISE’s presence, visibility, followers and subscribers on all social media platforms- Lead creation of critically and socially conscious digital, video, audio and print content; work closely with the program team to develop flyers and infographics to support ARISE’s fundraising, program, and campaign visibility, recruitment and goals - Develop a medium for collecting and archiving program photos, videos, images and quotes for use in communications - Develop culturally responsive communication mediums for ARISE’s diverse stakeholder base - Track engagement across various platforms and make data-driven decisions- Develop and maintain an alumni database as well as engage alumni support of ARISE’s mission- Create an annual budget for communications- Develop a communication plan to increase monthly sustainers- Engage in ARISE’s programming and coalition work - Develop bi-monthly reports on the impact of all social media and communication mediums- Develop and work toward strategic plan goals in connection to other staff functions

- Design promotional graphics for ongoing advocacy campaigns, including: the Cook vs Raimondo case, the #StopAsianHate infographics, and a 60 page pamphlet on Critical Race Theory- Conduct independent research to ensure that each graphic is backed by evidence

Worked closely with the Director of Development & Communications to create and execute awareness-raising strategies, support event management, co-ordinate fundraising efforts, and collaborate with Board members to develop plans for recruitment and retention.

Organized and led advocacy campaigns to make admissions at Brown more equitable, including: - Year-long campaign to make SAT/ACTs optional; result: student referendum with 74% voting in favor. This required designing and launching a social media campaign, networking with 7 external organizations (e.g. Lawyers from the Committee for Civil Rights Under Law), facilitating student testimonies, and more.- Campaign to end legacy admissions. Result: new University committee on Admissions, to begin in Spring. (in partnership with EdMobilizer)Lead social media team and produce promotional graphics:- Run Twitter and Instagram accounts; grew Instagram following by 1,500+- Design and launch social media campaigns- Teach students how to use Adobe Suite and collaborate on Canva- Collaborate with Providence community partners to support their social media needsCo-plan and promote fundraisers in collaboration with Providence community partners, including concerts, mutual aid projects, and guest speaker panelsInvestigated status of Brown's reparations, launched campaign for its full fulfillment (in 2019), and wrote a follow-up op-ed in 2021Host virtual workshops and networking events for aspiring activists at Brown, with 100+ turnout.

- Participated in Breakthrough Lab (B-Lab), Brown University's highly selective venture-accelerator program to develop Revive (a nonprofit-youth matching service)- Conducted bottom-up market research, including informational interviews with 24 nonprofits, 20+ high schoolers, and existing youth empowerment organizations. Worked with experienced entrepreneurs to develop effective interview questions- Developed sustainable business model and revenue streams; identified and analyzed market demographics (with mentors and cofounder)- Presented venture pitch at 2 conferences- Designed advertisements and pitch decks on Adobe Illustrator

Spearheaded a new inter-school, inter-state program (the "Future Leaders Coalition") to teach high schoolers key advocacy skills (e.g. understanding policy-making processes and how to shape it, using social media, creating strong messaging, organizing with others).
