Role is responsible for working collaboratively across government and negotiating with agency counterparts to deliver improved First Nations outcomes across NSW. Central to this role is fostering strong relationships across government and with First Nations stakeholders to enable evidence-based policy advice to informs the delivery of fiscally sustainable outcomes for First Nations people.

Worked with the Secretary and Treasury’s senior executive team to support them in leading the department in delivering the Govenrnment’s agenda. Role serves as a liaison between the Secretary and senior executive team, managing communication, and advocating their position when necessary. I was responsible for coordinating written communication for the Secretary, managing workflow systems, providing secretariat support for meetings, conducting analysis to provide strategic advice, delivering operational improvement strategies, and managing and mitigating emerging issues.

Role involved conducting research, analysis, and evaluation of issues and trends to support decision-making and strategic planning across the disaster resilience and emergency management portfolio. It involved engaging with stakeholders, facilitating workshops, and providing evidence-based advice to inform key government reform priorities. Responsibilities also include planning, coordinating and managing projects, preparing reports, designing strategic framework and government accountability mechanisms.
