MONOVA: Museum & Archives of North Vancouver, is a shared partner agency of the City and District of North Vancouver. MONOVA operates both the Museum of North Vancouver (115 West Esplanade) in The Shipyards and the Archives of North Vancouver (3203 Institute Road) in Lynn Valley. Responsible for leading growth and development of the earned revenue potential of the Vancouver Art Gallery, including programs such as Art Rental & Sales, Gallery hospitality (facility rentals and food & beverage), and implementing other innovative retail and value-added programs consistent with the Mission and Vision of the Gallery in engaging all people with art focusing on both the local and tourism markets. A primary goal is to complement the core program of the Gallery with opportunities to provide new and innovative experiences for audiences that generate revenue (monetize assets) while promoting accessibility to the Gallery.

Art Rental & Sales is a Social Enterprise operated by the Vancouver Art Gallery with a mandate of supporting emerging artists throughout British Columbia. Through the rental and sale of original artwork by a juried selection of artists, AR&S generates income for artists and provides funding for programs at the Vancouver Art Gallery.
