During my human rights internship, conducted entirely in Spanish, I worked across three distinct areas in various locations. First, I researched human rights in technology, compiling my findings and presenting them in an accessible way to a local elementary school. My work took place both at home and in the Projects Abroad office. Second, I volunteered at a homeless dining hall each night, where I served food, engaged with children, and contributed to mental health studies. This experience deepened my understanding of the systems supporting people in homeless situations. Lastly, I worked at Campo La Ribiera, a former clandestine detention center, where I read court transcriptions of survivors’ testimonies from the dictatorship era and collected data for the museum to help preserve this crucial history.

As a Guest Services and Sales Associate at Encounters with Dolphins, I was responsible for selling tickets, managing retail operations, and educating guests on local wildlife. My role involved providing exceptional customer service, handling ticket sales efficiently, and promoting merchandise in the retail store. I also took pride in educating visitors about local marine life and the ecosystem, ensuring they had an informative and enjoyable tour experience. This position strengthened my communication, sales, and customer service skills, while deepening my knowledge of wildlife and conservation efforts.
