Welfare role with in the Residential Services Team. This role is to work as part of a wardening team to support students in halls of residence studying at the college when on duty. Important role in ensuring student are able to complete programmes, maintain health and wellbeing and build community in halls.Fully trained in Safe Guarding, HSE First aid at work, Team Teach and Equailty and diversity.

Develop the Students’ Union to ensure it effectively engages with students across 7 campuses and provide a range of activities to gather views, socials/ sporting and enhance the student experience. Write, support, implement the Student Involvement Strategy and action plan held by the college. Strategy held through OFSTED visits.Arrange events and activities such as FE/ HE freshers fairs, external visits, fundraising campaigns, democracy, sporting, wellbeing and sustainability workshops or tours.To use and monitor the Students’ Union online presence- Facebook, twitter and website.Design and deliver regular training for staff and students alike on advocacy- the role of representatives, functions of the Students’ Union, social media and sustainability with in college. Green team lead on students to understand and focus on engaging to reduce carbon foot print through a variety of means. Training and visits arranged across campuses to support education and awareness along with Sustainability Fortnight.

Work in liasion with both the college and Students' Union to develop the Students' Union and its representation structure for the study body ensuring that Student Voice is heard at all Levels of College management of Key activities. Assist in the development of a new Student Involvement Strategy complete with student input on the action plan for development.Support and asssit in the development of Students' Union marketing materials including a SU website (www.warwickshire.ac.uk/su)Plan, run and review Student Enterprise Conference to provide the opportunity for Student Voice to be heard on developing the Enterprise College making both Students and the College fit for the future.

Two periods of work during June to September in 2010 and 2011,This role is to work as liasion between the visiting summer school and college departments.Tasks would include- Maintain working relationships with centre director of the summer school, catering manager, facilities manager and support summer school activities.Maintaining halls of residence with the cleaming crew, estates and maintenaince departments.Developing activities for students to participate in.Support the study needs of the students.being on hand to support the smooth running of summer school 24 hours per day.

Responsibilities included:Supporting the Student Association to run/ host events and representation activities for the student body.Liaise with the college and student body to embed Learner Voice further develop Learner Involvement into the college activities including Quality and Cirriculum.

To work with the College and Student Association to maintain student representation with in college structures and host a variety of events. This role also continued to have involvement with the College Board of Governors and College Leadership team to embed Learner Involvement in matters of the college.

A three month placement as part of Foundation Degree with a variety of roles with in the company to carry out.Groom- maintain the establishement, feeding/ care/ exercise regime/ equipment of Competition Horses.Assistant- Manage the company diary/ customer files and records for saddle fitters, manage stock, complete customer orders, complete customer service roles- including trade stands and company events, update the company website and introduce social media.

Full time employment to maintain a high level of care for all riding and breeding/ young stock horses at the establishment.Carry out specific duties of customer care to ensure the customer service provision is maintained when booking riding lessons by phone, in person and exchanging funds.Also a Junior instructor which provided the opportunity to teach riding lessons, theory to pony club and plan and run the holiday activities for the customers.
