Competitively racing motorcycles taught me the importance of organization, strategy and dedication. That translates to every aspect of my work. My ability to think critically and analyze effectively results in design experiences that are intuitive and empathetic, yet efficient. Running craft cocktail bars was my creative outlet for a long time and gave me opportunities to create efficiencies, empathize with users and drive happiness for the business and the customers. It also allowed me insight into UX Design when I was a test subject for a budding new POS company, back when taking orders on iPads was weird and new. Now I’m a product designer who loves creating accessible systems based on research and usability testing. My interests lay in information architecture and interaction design, which contribute to my end-to-end design abilities, as does my background in copywriting. UX/UI certificate from UC Berkeley Extension, and expertise in design tools such as Figma, XD and Sketch, wireframing, prototyping, user research, storyboarding, journey mapping, user experience focused design and user interface development. Proficiency in HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, Webflow and other CMS.My recent work has given me a deeper understanding of the importance of iteration, and research driven solutions. My life experience has developed both my attention to detail, and my ability to create meaningful, on-brand messaging through copy, imagery, interface and the complete user experience.
