Founded national youth mental health organization using grant from highly competitive international program. -Oversee mental health curriculum implementation in 5 chapters across the US with over 100 high school members in total-Speak at local events related to mental health, youth advocacy and civic engagement, reaching audiences of up to 500 per.

Held paid executive role on national staff of organization with over 600 volunteers. Oversaw day-to-day operations, including technology, conflict resolution, logistical matters, and onboarding of new members. Directed recruitment initiatives to create state, regional, and campus chapters.

Developed organizational recruitment strategy, worked as liaison between national board and state chapters to identify candidates for state and local leadership and membership. Oversaw relational organizing efforts and state recruitment initiatives.

Conducted outreach and communication between prospective chapter founders and the organization. Aided the establishment of state, local, and campus chapters.

Served as youth representative for statewide, 300-plus-participant annual walk to raise funds for mental health. Presented speech during opening ceremony, ran table featuring own organization, aided with logistics and operations of event.

Wrote articles on education for local news network, shadowed reporter and assisted with notes and photography at local events.

Selected as youngest of 14 speakers out of nationwide pool. Prepared and delivered TedX speech on youth activism and mental health at TedX Bronxville High School event to audience of 100.

Completed background research on teen mental health literacy across demographic groups, conducted field research by surveying a sample of 45 students at high school. Spearheaded initiatives to revise current mental health curriculum at high school by addressing concerns prevalent in background and field research findings.

Along with participation as a Mensa member, regularly contributed to American Mensa’s “by-youth, for-youth” publication, YM2, by writing a variety of articles and fiction pieces, with a focus on psychology, education, sustainability, and social justice.

Participated in a 3-month fellowship that accepts ~11% of applicants from around the world to study civic innovation. Developed two “case briefs” on civic issues and planned practical initiatives to solve them within own community.
