I handle billing, contracts, insertion orders, and email communications, build landing pages for client promotions, digitally build campaigns in Infusionsoft, and manage social media content. I am project manager of the LeadSnap program which helps small businesses turn their invisible online customers into real revenue. I touch all aspects of the project by making sure demands are fulfilled and deadlines are met. This position requires me to stay organized and calm under stress, pay close attention to detail, and juggle multiple projects and deadlines at once while being a motivating voice for the team and a friendly face to the client.

I started as a promotional team member and became the team’s manager six months later, creating and overseeing initiatives to reach more people in Chicago’s downtown community. Using my creativity through social media, community outreach, sales presentations, and event coordination, I successfully boosted the company’s revenue and overall popularity in a saturated market. It was here that I acted as the communicative glue between departments and clients by making sure the correct information is given to the necessary people.

Working at this small craft cocktail bar and art gallery was where I first realized that I could not fit my self solely into either category of creative or critical. After starting as a cocktail server that doubled as an art seller, I was hired to re-design they’re menu system and keep up with any changes or specialty offers. I had the unique experience of getting to know the consumer, through observation, as well as direct interaction. I had so much fun creating something based on genuine experiences I had with consumer.

MayaWorks is a non-profit, fair trade organization based in Chicago and partnering with women in Guatemala. I designed and wrote promotional material and email campaigns for their consumers and also for their employees in Guatemala who had little access to computers and spoke little to no English. This position tested my ability to manage multiple projects and think outside the box in order to reach new audiences.
