Millennium Volunteer Project Coordinator – Coordinating a funded project to encourage 14-25year olds to participate in volunteering opportunities within the playwork & childcare, the arts & crafts with recycled materials and the environmental sectors of the charity. Joint-running of a Give Us Support group which consults with young people as well as providing assistance with the running of a social club for disabled young adults are also included in the role. Administration Officer – General administrative tasks, payroll, invoicing, financial income & bank statements, DBS checks, room hire & activity bookings, any additional tasks and roles required by the charity.

Managing administration, marketing, website creation and updating, social media updating, fundraising and exploring new ways to develop the business. WiseWoods Wales was set up by a woodland charity, it is a Social Enterprise which manages a former-Forestry Commission woodland and creates products using the non-native felled timber. WiseWoods Wales fells in a sustainable manner which creates greater biodiversity and attempts to regenerate the former native woodland.

Summer research scholarship (Society of Biology): Sperm competition; using Callosobruchus maculatus as a model system with Dr Paul Eady: Culturing beetles within an insectary, dissecting beetles and measuring components using several high powered microscopes, recording findings and presenting data.
