Co-founded by Netlight in 2013, the network now consists of 100+ member companies with knowledge sharing and equality data gathering as the core activities. The steering committee coordinates the network and communicates events and happenings to the members.

Help to Help is an innovative crowdfunding platform enabling private and corporate donors to sponsor university education for young adults in East Africa. They also organise a computer boot camp for young women in Tanzania. Through our work we provided an evaluation method that could show which long term effects basic ICT education have for women in low-income countries.

I took part in workshops, meetings and daily work dealing with transformational challenges as well as the dynamics of working in a multinational project structure. I got to work a lot with communication through PowerPoint, analysis in Excel and was responsible for creating a Customer Journey for the client.

The start-up company pej (www.pej.io) has created a mobile proximity payment platform, which enables users to order and pay from their smartphones. They have currently entered the restaurant sector to help them reduce waiting time and remove physical queues. As an intern I got to be a part of all the work surrounding launching the service in different restaurants in both Malmö and Stockholm. Every week is different from the other at a start-up and you get confided with responsibility from day one which is very exciting! I got to manage the bookkeeping, create and follow up the economic budget, write content to potential investors and try out designing user interface.

Athena is the first all including female network at LTH. Athena arrange social networking and educational events, corporate collaborations and offer a mentorship program between students and working professionals. Athena’s vision is to empower all women and illuminate the benefits of diversity. Since I started the network in May 2016, Athena has grown to more than 1700 members and during my active year we hosted over ten successful events such as brunches, discussion evenings, lectures and dinners. All events have been widely appreciated and we continue to grow in both members and participation.

The Innovation committee at the I-guild wanted to show the students the benefits of starting your own company and using creativity in problem solving at large. As the head of the committee I was responsible for all the meetings with the group but also the contact with the guild. During my time we established the then new committee and tested a lot of different events which later on became annual traditions. We set up a clear vision and was included in the guilds bylaws.
