Provide facilities engineering oversight for critical R&D facilities in support of the Meta Reality Labs. Responsibilities include facilities monitoring, preventative maintenance, MEP design, building automation, as well as managing a team of engineers and budgeting/purchasing for buildings under my purview.

• Promote engineering at WSU to prospective students• Lead group tours for prospective students and their families• Lead one-on-one sessions and tours for prospective students• Meet with industry and academic professionals

• Work and teach students during lab for introductory engineering course• Teach and work with other peer mentors in preparation for each lab• Hold weekly office hours to provide course insights and general engineering/university guidance

• Handled, maintained, and trained students on manufacturing equipment such as 3D printers, laser engravers, waterjets, and various wood working tools• Lead tours for visiting companies, professionals, and prospective students

• Design complete cooling/heating system for a Hydrogen Refueling system• Perform transient heat analyses with Matlab and EES• Size heat/cooling loads and ventilation• Use SolidWorks to perform Thermal and (CFD) studies

Building Automation for Critical Environment Infrastructure.Applied skills learned from previous BAS internship with Siemens, to the critical environment (data centers) side of building automation. Learned controller start-up, functionality testing and troubleshooting for data center equipment like fluid coolers, air handlers, and central coolers. Worked with the team to build and transfer accurate databases for all of the devices.

Building automation for commercial office buildings.Utilized Excel to create the database for the building and imported the database into the Siemens BAS program and uploaded the information to all the controllers. Learned how to start-up and program controllers for different HVAC devices. Facilitated testing to ensure proper functionality of these devices and did troubleshooting when the devices weren't working properly.
