I'm Zo, a second year plant sciences student who is deeply interested in the dynamics and functions of "deep-rooted" plant-soil symbioses such as mycorrhizal interactions. :) Throughout my undergraduate studies I have developed an interest for the niche of plant-soil interactions, particularly in the setting of agriculture. The ignorant approach towards crop breeding and agriculture has evidently neglected belowground interactions that have coevolved beautifully, I believe it is important that we consider the inefficiencies in the movement of nutrients which crops are currently unproductive at.
