Consultancy services for Supply and Installation of Intermittent Chlorination System for ADDC Water Distribution Network • Prepare and review P&ID diagrams for mechanical equipment• Conceptual and final design of a potable dosing unit and a central chlorine storage facility, with complete specifications.• Perform mathematical analysis and model residual chlorine data received from client to check consistency of results by utilizing standard deviation to examine degree of deviance from mean values, observe the behavior of residual chlorine measured during different seasons to identify the critical zones/locations.• Conduct on-site free residual chlorine measurement tests in 46 locations, covering Central, Eastern & Western Abu Dhabi to identify the residual chlorine in the water at feed and tail ends of the distribution network and prepare a detailed report. • Perform water quality modeling for critical zones using EPANET and deduce the dosage rates required in order to achieve the minimum residual chlorine limits set as per RSB in the tail ends of the network.• Conduct onsite survey to identify system parameters like flow rate, pipe size, availability of power, access, washout points etc.• Validate water Quality models by conducting onsite trial run at 10 locations where source pipelines were injected with Sodium Hypochlorite (NaOCl) of 0.8 % concentration until results of residual chlorine similar to those in the models were achieved at designated points.• Preparation of draft studies, surveys and preliminary design report and tender document.
