1 - Own Brand Product Development:a) Development of product specifications covering microbiological, physical and chemical characteristics of own brand food, near food and non-food products.b) Review and approval of product artworks ensuring METRO Corporate brand requirements and local legal requirementsc) Sensory evaluation of products at all stages during development and post launchd) Risk Assessment of Products and designing product testing plan Own brands product complaint managemente) Close coordination with cross functional teams, attending meetings and sharing project updates for Own Brand with commercial teams2 - Supplier Development:a) Selection of Own Brand Products & Non Own Brand Products suppliers through supplier audits as per defined METRO Group requirements.b) Developing suppliers from basic level of quality management system to internationally recognized standards like HACCP, GFSI etcc) Conducting risk assessment of suppliers and developing annual monitoring plansd) Training of supplier staff on basic food safety & hygiene, METRO minimum quality requirements and standards to improve supplier qualification level3 - Customer Response Management:a) Development of procedures and processes for Customer Response Collectionb) Trainings of store management staff on Customer Response Handling Protocolc) Customer Response Reviews with top management to improve services and product quality at stores as main stakeholder of cross functional teamd) Central person for coordination of Monthly, Quarterly & Annual Customer Responses with region and corporate office.4 - Documentation & Data Control:a) Development of documentation of data control procedure and assessmentsb) Central person for managing QA related documents; local and corporate documents

1) Looking after all Quality Assurance related activities in day to day operations at METRO Cash & Carry Pakistan2) Internal auditing of food, dry food & non food departments to assure compliance at all levels.3) Auditing vendor services like Housekeeping, Integrated Pest Management, Employee Cafeteria etc at store level to assure compliance4) Incoming Goods Inspections at store level to assure all criteria met as per approved criteria5) Development of work instructions, SOP’s etc at store level covering the scope of quality related areas6) Training of operation staff to create awareness for basic food safety & hygiene, on developed and implemented SOP’s
